Lori’s Gifts was honored on Wednesday, September 25th at the Annual Auxiliary dinner at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. Lori’s team members received recognition for their help in supporting the Auxiliary through the expert operation of the hospital’s Atrium gift shop, for their assistance in fundraising, and their participation in hospital events. Lori’s was also thanked for providing gift bags for the evening, complete with throw blankets, snacks, tech gear and other popular store offerings.

Auxiliary President adn Gift Shop Chair, Hymie Glick, reported that “The Atrium gift shop continues to show wonderful growth since the return to full time hours.” The 2024 Committee Reports booklet noted that the store has increased its hours to later in the evening to take care of hospital staff, patients and family members with needs.

The report also featured Store Manager Diane Ferrucci, a recipient of Lori’s prestigious Make Your Mark Award for her caring, compassionate nature towards the hospital’s staff and guests. Comments included, “Her store always looks great,” and “She goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone is well taken care of.”

Lori’s was also thanked for stepping up to help the auxiliary with a toy closet fundraising event, and for being a sponsor and driver in the Looking Forward virtual driving event benefitting a program at Yale New Haven Smilow Cancer Hospital, which provides emotional support for cancer patients.

Lori’s representatives in attendance at the event included Store Manager Diane Ferrucci, District Sales Manager Kari Perez, Regional Vice President Tracy Sinnott, and Lori’s Chief Financial Officer Maja Teeples, who said, “It was a really nice evening, and in the words of our hospital partner, Eileen (Hansen), ‘I love our partnership and we just click.”

Tracy Sinnott said, “Thank you to the team for supporting the dinner and more throughout the years! We have a great partnership, a new five-year contract, and will continue to grow the relationship and opportunities that come our way!”
