Lori’s Gifts was honored Sept. 21, 2022 at the 69th Annual Auxiliary dinner at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. Lori’s team members received gratitude for their help in supporting the Auxiliary, and praise for the gift shop’s excellence, and for making every guest feel warmly welcomed. YNH Auxiliary Gift Shop Chair and President-Elect Hymie Glick was so impressed, he volunteered to work in the shop once a week.
To make the night extra special, Lori’s team members provided fun gift bags for dinner guests filled with a variety of useful items and tasty treats from the shop. Volunteer Services Senior Manager Eileen Hansen sent a special note of thanks to Lori’s team leaders: District Managers Tom Drewes and Jessica Brunelle, and Regional Vice President of Operations, Tracy Sinnott.
In additional news, Lori’s will partner with the Auxiliary on a new volunteer program that provides real-world, paid job experience to people with disabilities. The hospital will cover workers’ salaries, and Lori’s Gifts will provide training in stocking, pricing, and greeting and helping guests.
