AUSTIN, TX. (May 8, 2024) — Texas Children’s Hospital hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its North Austin campus on Tuesday, May 7 to celebrate the Grand Opening of Lori’s Gifts Store #659.
Hospital administrators, staff, and volunteers joined with Lori’s Field Leaders to cut the red ribbon and welcome first-time guests to the gift shop. Tyler Glass, Director of Support Services in Austin, shares his excitement: “We are super thrilled to be partnering with Lori’s Gifts. This is the first time we’ve done this across Texas Children’s Hospital, so we’re excited about the partnership, and even more excited to have a fully functioning, fully loaded gift shop with all the merchandise available.”
The event was marked with special Grand Opening sales, games and prizes. Visitors were pleasantly surprised at the quality and assortment of products displayed in the new store, with lines forming at the door all day.
Bob Robinson, Lori’s Gifts Southern Regional VP, reflects on joining the Texas Children’s family: “We are incredibly thrilled to open our doors with Texas Children’s Hospital in North Austin.
