Lori’s Gifts held its 2023 company Leadership Summit February 21st through 23rd in the “Wild West” setting of the famous Ft. Worth Stockyards & Rodeo. The Executive Leadership Team chose the historic location to give attendees from across the country an authentic taste of Texas. Attendees were greeted with a big Texas “Howdy” and canvas gift bags full of goodies, courtesy of Lori’s Support Center staff and our generous vendors. Participants were treated to a vendor expo dinner, and the highlight of the Western-themed summit, a night at Billy Bob’s.
This year’s theme, “Make Your Mark,” focused on developing habits, skills and qualities that distinguish good leaders from extraordinary leaders who leave a lasting, positive mark on the lives of others. The keynote address, workshops, and team-building activities were led by Summer Jelinek, who shared the “Magic” of great leadership learned from her years as a Disney Institute Trainer.
In addition to the training, Lori’s executives and team leaders fellowshipped, celebrated business victories, discussed best practices, and constructed new goals and a solid plan for making the Magic happen for Guests, Partners and Team Members. New initiatives aimed at keeping the Magic thriving were unveiled at the conference. The Make Your Mark Award will be given each month for going above and beyond to take care of Guests. Team Members will be rewarded with recognition, 2 extra PTO days, a local hotel stay, dinner and more, in commitment to empowering teams to do right by Guests, Partners and each other.
Lori’s Gifts celebrates victories and the Team Members who make them happen.
